Most of us have been in the work from home phase for the past few months. Now that going back to offices have resumed, it becomes even more important looking after our health. Recipes

Multigrain Mathri (serving 60 pieces)

a healthier version  of the traditional crunchy mathri ,a savoury snack.

Ingredient

1 cup whole grain wheat flour

1/2 cup Finger Millet/ Ragi flour

1/2 cup Amaranth/ Rajgira flour

2 tablespoons dry fenugreek leaves

1 tsp sesame seeds,roasted

Yoghurt to knead the dough

2 tbsp olive oil

Black pepper coarsely crushed

Salt to taste

½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)

Pinch of turmeric powder

¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)

½ tsp baking powder

Method

Take a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Add the olive oil, and mix the flour to get a crumble like texture.

Gradually add the yogurt and knead well to make a soft dough.

Cover and let this rest for 15 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the oven at 300F.

Take a fist size ball of dough and roll out. Shape them using cookie cutters, prick them evenly with a fork and place them on a greased baking tray. Repeat with the remaining dough.

Bake the mathri's in the preheated oven for until golden brown (about 20 minutes).Flip them in between.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.Store them in an airtight container.

The Homemade Trail Mix

a power packed immunity friendly snack that you can stock up on your work desk and munch on all day.

Ingredients

1 cup Walnuts , quartered

1 cup pistachio , chopped

1 cup almonds , sliced

½ cup raisins

½ cup dried cherries

½ cup pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds

1 tsp cinnamon powder

Method

Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl.

Store in an airtight jar to keep them fresh for long.
